What will they say on June 8

Predictions of what they will say at the FreeMyInternet Protest

Tan Jee Say: We need a new Govt to replace the PAP. We need to spend $60B to create more service industries that will employ Singaporeans in noble jobs.

Alex Au: This is an attempt by the Govt to clamp down on gay reporting.

Vincent Wijeysingha: The Govt will clamp down on LGBT sites

Chee Soon Juan: PAP is taking away your constitutional right of free speech with these new MDA regulations. Vote SDP to check the Govt!

Gilbert Goh: The govt should do more for unemployed PMET’s.

Jolovan Wham: Transient workers have rights too. We should treat transient workers better.

Ravi Philemon: The new MDA regulations are biased. TOC got 50,000 unique readers every month, why are we exempted from the regulation? Are we to be the token nigger? Not that we can pay though….

M Ravi: I will launch a Constitutional challenge against the new MDA regulations in the High Court! Where’s KJ when you need him? Or do I need to find a cleaner who lives in Hougang?

Teo Soh Lung: The new MDA regulations are the digital version of the ISA. Beware the PAP’s sinister intentions! Your content can be detained without trial for 30 years!

ACRES: The new MDA regulations are aimed at stopping our campaign to free the dolphins at Resorts World Sentosa.

Braema Mathi: The new MDA regulations are aimed at curbing civil society.

Leong Sze Hian: The new MDA regulations are aimed at stopping discussion on high HDB flat prices!

SADP: The new MDA regulations are aimed at stopping discussion on death penalty!

Spotted on #FreeMyInternet FB from @Jann Goh:

“So wrong! We should take a leaf from PAP’s book. Tan Jee Say will speak on behalf of ACRES, Leong Sze Hian will talk about LGBT rights etc…”

  4. Hmm … good to know that our activists and opposition members are so consistent in their beliefs and articulation. Clarity of message. Well done.

What a facetious post… It’s ok to be an armchair critic, but at least say something sensible

  6. Ronald David says:

This govt is saying simply they are all heart but do not overstep their good intentions.

  7. Xiu says:

Your use of the word “nigger” was incredibly offensive; I wish you didn’t have to make use of an ugly racial slur to make your point.

    • ‘Token nigger’ is an American expression. It’s like ‘top dog’ which might seem offensive when applied to Muslims. But if you really understand what the expression means, you’ll understand there’s no slur there.
