My first attempt at humour in Chinese.
Those who have read the novel or followed the show will appreciate the humour and the irony.

hellooooo.. 明教 is the good guys ok! how come the paps become 明教??! d**ming H*ll.
Where is Zhang Wu Ji 张无忌？
Is he a independent?
明教 is the biggest and most powerful, thus PAP. 无忌 will come when we find a real leader of the opposition, one whom the 六大門派 can rally around.
Absolute rubbish. 明教 stood for good, and the 六大門派 evil, in the book. As evidenced by the various morally corrupt 掌门人 leading the latter. If anything, 明教 should stand for the opposition, because their goal was to overthrow the reigning Mongol empire. The only irony here is your inability to comprehend the original meaning of 金庸’s novel, which is that what appears good may not be good, and what appears evil may not be evil. 明教 was in name a 邪教, but it worked to help the people and all its leaders were chivalrous characters. On the other hand, the 六大門派 enjoyed an honourable reputation, but tried to attack 明教 on 光明顶 via underhanded means. The leaders were mostly hypocrites.
Bullshit. You can’t see the irony, don’t make such remarks.
I know the story very well.
Have you thought that perhaps PAP is also like 明教, that they are misunderstood, that they really have Singapore’s long-term good in mind? And just like 明教, they want to focus Singapore on fighting the external enemies (eg global competition), just like 明教 wanted to fight the mongols?
I’m sure you can relate the 六大門派掌门 to our so-called “opp” leaders. All claiming to be righteous, all claiming to be 英雄好汉, but in reality all selfish and unwilling to cooperate with one another, and all scheming and squabbling among themselves, all hoping to be 武林之尊.
Does that describe what happened in RP, in SDP, in PKMS, between SPP and SDA, and now between NSP and WP?
The problem is you don’t see the irony and sarcasm involved, eg why I portrayed KJ as 成昆, and you expect everything to fit.
Some have asked why there is no 无忌, others have asked why 灭绝 is represented by a male, not female. Etc.
Of course it would be nice if everything could fit, but I can’t make all the family relationships and teacher-student relationships in the story fit real life.
But I hope people can see why each character is chosen to represent the opp leader. In my view, the characters I chose fit the opp leaders very well. If you understand the story, you’ll see why. PAP not so, but there’s a reason why I didn’t use 无忌 to represent PM Lee.
无忌 will come when I find a real leader the whole 武林 can unite behind.
This is a real gem. Keep up the awesome work!
This is awesome! ming sect as PAP is apt. the context may not fit entirely, but i give it to you for originality and creativity. Fantastic stuff!
Kudos to u, more of this pls 🙂
I think Nicole Seah can be the young leader Zhang Wu Ji who leads the 6 parties – (Zhang is related to the Ming Jiao and Wu Dang)
Nope sorry, Nicole Seah cannot. The only reason why she’s so popular nowadays is because her direct opponent – TPL – fails pretty badly. Chen Show Mao is by far the most capable and worthy of being Zhang Wu Ji
